Cayo Largo is one of the Cuban tourist destinations par excellence, isolated and quiet, well preserved; it has the exact image of a Caribbean site with coconut trees, beaches of fine white sand and turquoise waters, thanks to the wide biodiversity that exists here, the guests of the key share the space with seagulls, iguanas, herons, hummingbirds, corals ... all in a sustainable environment, effectively managed by prestigious scientific institutions. And among so many valuable species, sea turtles stand out, of which three subgenera have chosen this area as a nesting and reproduction site.

The loggerhead turtle (Caretta caretta), the green turtle (Chelonia mydas) and the hawksbill turtle (Eretmochelys imbricata) are protected in a conservation project that involves both tourists and staff working in the key.

This tour is designed for you to participate in this process by choosing whether you want to participate in the nesting or in the release of hatchlings, as the program varies according to the chosen modality.

Very Important: This excursion is subject to the natural weather conditions and the nesting and spawning seasons of the turtles, so it will not always be available.
