Ernest Hemingway International Marlin Fishing Tournament
Competitive meeting for fishing lovers that has been held since 1936 to date in Cuba. Its promoter was the famous writer Ernest Hemingway. To compete in this event is a merit, this tournament is the oldest in the world in that category and the main sport fishing tournament in Cuba.
If you come on your own boat the price includes: free berthing during the tournament, personal invitation to the welcome cocktail, award ceremony and farewell dinner for the team members.

Basic Guidelines of the Rules: The tournament will be governed under the rules of the IGFA, with teams of up to 4 anglers and the method used will be Trolling in the form of "catch, mark and release". Only the captain and a representative of the boat will attend the captain's meeting. Each team may only have 4 fishing lines in the water. Fishing lines up to 36 kg (80 lbs) may be used.
