Jeep Safari Mountaine Adventure & History

Description

We invite you to enjoy an unforgettable adventure as you discover the rich flora and fauna of the Mayari pine forests, a paradise located in the mountains of eastern Cuba.

Program

  • Departure in 4x4 jeeps to Pinares de Mayari, a locality located 84 km east of Guardalavaca and one of the most interesting regions of Cuba thanks to the richness of its endemic species, with more than 445 different species in a landscape that has original pine forests, charrascal and evergreen forests.
  • On the way you will visit the historical museum of Biran, birthplace of Fidel Castro's family.
  • Next, you will climb the Sierra Cristal along its north-facing mountain roads.
  • Stop at the El Guayabo waterfall to enjoy the spectacular view from the lookout point, the highest waterfall on the island at 546 meters above sea level.
  • Visit to a local farmer's house.
  • Typical lunch in Villa Pinares, and walk through the natural wonders of the south side of the Mayari plateau for the return.
  • Return to the hotels.
